What is a custom audience and how do I build one? We will answer those two burning questions and show you how to get it all set up for success!
You want conversions right? Well you need to be able to gauge where those conversions are coming from so you know the most effective means to spend your hard earned ad dollars. A lot of people miss this step so that is why I chose to show you before we even put our ad together.
If you have a WordPress website then this video is going to show you what you need to do to install both your custom audience tracking pixel and conversion tracking pixel to your site. This method is only for WordPress sites so you may need to contact your IT person to install the pixels on other site builders. Besides the video there are several image files to reference as you implement these pixels onto your site.
Here we will learn to create an ad from the Ads Manager platform. First we will walk through a "Boost Post" (otherwise known as "Page Post Engagement") ad from start to finish.
Now that we are familar with creating an ad in Ads Manager let's take a look at the other ad types available such as "Clicks To Website".
"Web Conversion" ads are similar to "Clicks To Website", but Facebook will try to deliver your ad to those users in your audience "most likely" to convert.
If you are wanting to get more page like and build an audience then "Promote your Page" is the way to go!
The Power Editor is not for the faint of heart. It can be intimidating when first building Facebook Ads but once I show you around you will see why this is the tool you want to be using from the start.
See how powerful the Facebook Power Editor is as we build a campaign and find some techniques that aren't availabe in the regular Ads Manager.

I prefer building all of my ads in power editor and that is no different with the video ads. Here I will show how to set up both a "click to website" ad using video (new feature Facebook has rolled out) and a "video views" ad.
