In this session you will get the basic outline of what the upcoming lectures will cover. You will discover the reasons why people want to run webinars, but also what the real benefits of running webinars are.
There are a number of things you will need to acknowledge and have to be able to run successful webinars. In addition you will learn why it is important to always consider 'the other side'.
Process Mapping for your webinar
A webinar will only work if there is an audience at the other end. It's almost like having a party, but then no-one turns up...
In this session you will discover a variety of ways to find and invite your audience to your webinar session. This will avoid you having no-one to 'play' to.
By now you will have noticed that all this webinar stuff is to be done online. So technology plays an important role. In this session we will talk about what techie stuff you will need to get the show going. But like I said many times before, we are doing it on a budget.
Inviting your potential customers to join you for your webinar requires some way to register for the event. In this session you will learn how to get them excited about your webinar, so they will beg you to sign up.
And while running webinars for free may be one option for having some fun, ultimately you may wish to charge for those webinars you deliver. Now you will learn how to do just that.
Your audience must be able to sign up easily as well as buy easily from you. Here you will learn how to get the backend support pages organised to keep your audience happy.
In this session you will learn some simple, yet important aspects to building your webinar presentation.
Now that we have covered all the fundamentals to building your webinar, it's time to get down to content. It's all about the flow of the webinar presentation. What to cover when, how much time to allocate to certain steps, etc.
Wow, you are ready to deliver!
Having learnt so much already, it's time to get ready for the first show...
Don't rush though, since there are a few other points to consider, which are covered in this session.
Running the actual webinar is just a small part in the proceedings. After the webinar presentation it's all about customer care. In this session we cover what to do after the show, such as keeping in touch with your audience and how to do just that.
Now that you have learnt all there is to running your own successful webinars, why not get down to do it all over again?
In this part of the course I have provided a selection of useful files that you can download.
There is a guide of how to get set up with the webinar host, a file on the mail-out strategy to invite and follow up with your attendees, as well as a list of all URLs I have mentioned in the slides and my presentation, plus a few extra ones to help you along the way.
